craft fair, laguna beach, late 1960s

craft fairs were a huge deal in the 1960's. i love each and every collage shown in this photograph. of course, i can't stop wondering what else was for sale that day.

sadly, craft fairs fell out of fashion. but with the current resurgence in crafts there are more & more craft fairs being held all the time! renegade in chicago & new york, crafty wonderland in portland and stitch in austin just to name a few.

if you live in the los angeles area i invite you to check out felt club. i'll be selling there with 2 dozen other vendors this sunday nov 12, 11am-6pm at the echo on sunset @ lemoyne in echo park. and don't miss the big holiday show on dec 9.
