world famous crochet museum, joshua tree

i think joshua tree national park is the most beautiful place on earth and the nearby town of joshua tree is also pretty darn cool. i try to make it up there as often as i can.

well i think i had better plan a trip real soon now that the world famous crochet museum has opened. started by artist shari elf and housed in a former foto-mat booth (i wonder if it's the same one i spotted a few years ago a little further up the road in 29 palms?). the museum showcases her amazing collection of found crochet.

apparently there is an entire "wing" devoted to poodles. i wonder if there are any turtles?
