trims spice your sweaters, 1960

27sweatertrim_1

"add a piquant touch of sparkle to your favorite sweaters"

a berry pattern was embroidered on the pale yellow shawl collared sweater/blouse. the coral jacket (my favorite, i would wear this in a second) is trimmed with ribbon and stitched with contrasting thread. the tulips on the the white cardigan were appliqued with felt.

i hope this inspires all of you who have taken the wardrobe refashion pledge. i wish i could join you but i am really way too weak and couldn't go without shopping for that long!

I misread at first and thought you said you'd wear the yellow shawl thingy. I thought to myself "the Cathy of California must have some sangfroid" but then I reread and saw it was the coral jacket you were talking about. Yeah, totally wearable!
