i just love this "delightful candid portrait of a bright eyed racoon enjoying an apple" embroidered by erica wilson with crewel wool on burlap. erica was a well known teacher, writer and designer whose enthusiasm helped lead the way for the revival of crewelwork in the 1960s.

I love how the photo is styled so that it looks like she does all her work on the floor, just so they can get the chair in the shot
