felt club craft classes at the LA county fair
who dosen't love a county fair? i sure do. i just can't get enough of the product demos, baby farm animals, deep fried foods and (of course!) the crafts.
throughout the month of september, various members of felt club will be doing crafty demonstrations at the LA county fair. learn to make mini-books with tyler bender book co, sew up a cute headband with queen puff puff, create colorful charm jewelry with charcoal designs, make needle-felted animals with sew darn cute, create fun sock creatures with jek in the box, and amigurumi with mr. funky.
i'll be there saturday sept 22, 10am - 3 pm, demonstarting a project i found in a 1965 "family circle" magazine. i'll even have some kits available for sale. hope you can stop by!
the classes are held in "tapestry" building which is right under the grandstand and directly across from the food stand where you can buy the deep fried twinkies and oreos.
i'll get you the complete schedule just as soon as it's finalized.

Yay! This is going to be so much fun!
