I love the video. My Aunt Ginny sent me a box of her old sewing and craft supplies and in the box were two of the le fluer flower looms, but sadly with no instructions. I was thinking about getting rid of them, but your video has me inspired to hunt down some artifical raffia and have a go at making some of those nifty flowers. Thanks for putting the info out there.

Cathy-I saw your segment on the Martha show and fell in love with the flowers. I make beaded flowers, which are also very colorful, so your flowers immediately caught my eye. I ordered your loom kit and some synthetic raffia and was so excited when they arrived. I made my first flower this morning. It was so easy, and now I'm hooked. Thanks for sharing your passion.

Cathy, I'm so glad I found your web site. I used to make these flowers with my Grandma and just recently found the flower looms and instructions in my parents garage. I wasn't sure what type of material to use with them, so thank you for the ideas. I'm looking forward to making some with my Granddaughter.

new books mentioned in this blog

  • i am acquainted with a few publicists who work for publishers that publish craft and design books. they occasionally send me review copies of their latest offerings. if i choose to do so i sometimes make mention of these books if i think the readers of this blog might be interested in hearing what i think about them. in some cases these are books that i have contributed to and of course want to lend a hand in the promotion of them.
