i just got totally sick of my desk and where i store my supplies to the point i knew i could not do anything else until i did a major clean up. i just did 2 craft fairs (on top of my "day job") and things had gotten out of control. the mess and disorganization was really getting to me and i knew there was no way i could start any of the new projects coming my way unless i took drastic measures. i did not take any "before" pictures but i pretty much had all my supplies shoved in plastic bins (which were then crammed under my desk) which seemed like a good way to organize until i actually needed to find something. of course this snowballed into an even more major clean up of the other areas of my house (laundry room, closets and an area under a staircase) where i store supplies and tools, so that's why it took so long. those "andys" (meshy w/3 drawers) are great for fabrics and other lightweight supplies and the "helmers" (looks like a filing cabinet w/ 6 drawers) are perfect for scissors, tools, pins and stuff like that. i'm feeling really good right now and think this set up might help me be more organized. let's just see how long i'll be able to keep it this way!
Yeah, I totally understand. I got a red helmer and love it. I was surprised and how much it held and is prefect for all my paper things. The studio looks very inspiring!
