why on earth did wallpaper fall out of fashion? when i was growing up almost every room in the house had wallpaper. my mom really went to town with the bathroom - not just the walls but also the insets of the cabinet doors, the cupboard shelves, the light switch and electrical plug covers all got covered in wallpaper! our kitchen had a vivid floral pattern and my mom even found a fabric that was a close match for the cafe curtains. but it seems like just recently that all i ever heard about from friends who moved into a new home or apartment was that the first thing they were going to do was get rid of the wallpaper.
