dec. 31, '69

a few years ago i blogged the 1961 "edition" of these little photo albums that i found at an estate sale in brentwood. i thought it was the perfect time to share a few photos from 1969. it looks like these people had a very good time welcoming in 1970.

it actually did not occur to me until a couple of weeks ago that we are about to enter a new decade. it took one of those silly "decade in review" articles to make me realize that. i am looking forward to next year and am actually feeling very optimistic about it (which is kind of uncharacteristic for me). 2009 was very good to me but i'm quite ready for 2010.
