fabric flower class @ home ec april 22

i am pleased to announce that i'll be teaching a fabric flower class @ home ec in silver lake on april 22nd from 7-10pm. fabric flowers make a great mother's day gift.

the class will focus on basic flower making techniques using fabric-- but the same technique can be used with other materials such as paper or even masking tape! flowers are fashioned on a wire stem and can be easily made in batches so that you arrange them in a vase. in the class we will a create a brooch (or a boutonnière for the guys).
