lots of balls, cones and hanks of yarn as well as a variety of string are occupying the space on my work table this evening. my weaving class, upcoming workshops and a few other things are in the works. of course i had to go shopping for some of the stuff you see here. i have been exploring yarn stores (a new thing for me) and was able to track down that vividly colored yarn (those 3 balls in front) in east los angeles (on a tip from one of the other students in the weaving class).
I can't wait to see what you're doing next!

Oooh! I wonder if it's the same yarn I bought at the flea market near our studio that I used on these goodie bags: http://blog.rockscissorpaper.com/2010/01/chock-full-of-love/

yes heidi it looks like the same stuff. i don't normally like synthetics but i could not resist those colors! it's what is used to embroider on clothing and blankets.

ooo, you have a little weave-it loom. I have a couple in different sizes. That is the extent of my weaving skills but I love it.
