i have been working very closely with erica wilson this past week. well not actually erica wilson herself but rather one of her books. erica wilson's embroidery book as been at my side providing me with invaluable reference for a project i have been hired to work on.

I have some awesome embroidery books from the 40's to the 70's. It's lovely to see the freedom of the style of embroidery in those books coming back into modern publications too.
Ondori did great embroidery motif collections in the 70's.
