my mom has both of these books... I hope I will inherit them. There are some great recipes in it. One of our family's favorites - go back to bed stew. you dump all the ingredients in a roasting pan, turn your oven on to 200 or 250 and put it in - go back to bed was the final instruction...ha.

Peg Bracken was my kind o' cook! We call her methods the "Dump and Shove-It" school of cooking...Dump it in the pan and shove it in the oven!!! Yes!

How cool! My mom has the "I Hate to Cook" book, and I recently found the "I Hate to Housekeep Book" at a book sale. We've never seen the Etiquette book before.
