antiques roadshow appraiser wearing an enid collins papier mache brooch

everyone is talking about the record breaking $1,000,000 cups recently brought to the antiques roadshow. but if you ask me i think the really big antiques roadshow news is what the appraiser was wearing in an episode i watched last week: an ENID COLLINS PAPIER MACHE BROOCH!

for those of you who have been reading my blog over the years know that my love for enid collins (especially her papier mache) has been well documented (for example here and here). i also profile enid in my book vintage craft workshop (where you will also find a project created by enid's grandaughter!).
